SPAGHETTI WESTERN DUEL
Created for my second Motion Design course, this project focused on exploring a subject of my choice through a tactile, handmade visual approach.
All visual assets were hand-drawn in Procreate, then refined and textured in Adobe Photoshop to achieve a layered, cardboard- and paper-inspired look. The animation was composited in After Effects, with post-processing and audio completed in Premiere Pro.
I chose to depict a classic Western duel, drawing inspiration from the framing and visual language of old spaghetti Westerns like Gunsmoke and The Lone Ranger. I’ve always been drawn to cowboy imagery and the open range, so this project was a chance to explore that interest through a design-focused lens.
